Join our Foster Open House and meet your next foster pet! Learn about our foster program and what it means to be a foster pet parent, chat with staff and current foster volunteers, and meet kittens currently available for foster, and so much more! There are two chances to stop by and join our open house:
- Saturday, June 25 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
- Sunday, June 26 from 12 pm (noon) – 2 pm
Fostering a pet helps keep the shelter population low and helps the pets in our care get ready for adoption, especially the ones that need just a little extra TLC. Learn more about our foster program here.
Are you a current or past Hawaiian Humane foster pet parent? This June, celebrate National Foster a Pet month and share your #MyFosterBreakup Letter to help us win a $10,000 grant and fun party for our pets from Petco Love. Here’s what to do: Write a breakup letter from your foster pet’s perspective and share it on social media with #MyFosterBreakup and tag @PetcoLove and @HawaiianHumane. Getting dumped is not usually something you want to share on the internet… Until now!
